After nearly two months, Donald Cook of Duluth realized that a Powerball ticket he purchased for the Aug.13 drawing was worth $200,000. “It was unbelievable,” recalled Cook as he claimed the prize. Cook, who works as a chief cook for Interlake Steamship Company, says he doesn’t get too many opportunities to check his Lottery tickets. “I was taking time off the boat so I went to have my tickets checked,” he explained. “They told me I couldn’t claim the prize — I had to go to the Lottery office to do it.”
