APRIL 29, 2010 — The Power Play® 10X promotion is back! A “10” will be added to the Power Play wheel for every Powerball® drawing during the month of May.

That means that adding Power Play to a Powerball ticket could be worth up to $2 million (Power Play does not apply to the Powerball jackpot or to any Match 5 Bonus).

If the wheel doesn’t land on 10 at least once during the month of May, the 10 will continue to be on the wheel until it has been selected.

When the Power Play 10X promotion ends, players can still win up to $1 million by adding Power Play for the chance to multiply their non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X, 4X or 5X. Players who match the first five numbers automatically win $1 million if they purchased Power Play.

Mega Millions® also has a multiplier option. Like Power Play, the Mega Millions Megaplier® option can be added for an additional $1 per play. Megaplier gives players the chance to win up to $1 million by multiplying non-jackpot prizes by 2X, 3X or 4X.
