Cottage Grove Resident Wins $38,569 Northstar Cash® Jackpot
JUNE 19, 2008 — Mohamed Alinor of Cottage Grove claimed a $38,569 Northstar Cash jackpot at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville this morning.
The numbers on the third line of his five-line quick-pick ticket matched all five numbers drawn on June 17, 2008 (1-3-12-18-20) to win the jackpot.
SuperAmerica, located at 2445 Bloomington Ave. in Minneapolis, sold the winning ticket.
A Northstar Cash jackpot ticket worth $25,000 for the drawing on July 25, 2007 (sold in Ramsey County) has not yet been claimed. Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim all prizes.
To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.
Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
