Richfield Resident Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize
JULY 2, 2009 —James Van Bergen of Richfield won $100,000 by playing the Lottery’s MINNESOTA TWINS™ scratch game.
AJYOUNG Inc., located at 600 S. Highway 169 in St. Louis Park, sold the winning ticket.
The MINNESOTA TWINS™ scratch game is a $5 ticket that offers a top prize of $100,000. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.5. There are currently two of five $100,000 top prizes remaining to be claimed.
To play, match any of “Your Numbers” to any of the “Winning Numbers” to win the prize shown for that number. If you uncover a baseball symbol, you automatically win that prize.
Players who don’t win instantly can enter non-winning tickets for the chance to win experiential prizes including tickets to the new Target Field™ outdoor stadium for a 2010 regular season home game, a trip to SPRING TRAINING™ in Fort Myers, Fla. in 2010 or one of 1048 MLB® licensed merchandise prize packs valued at $595. Prize pack winners can choose from a variety of merchandise including TWINS®jackets, jerseys and duffle bags to “create your own” merchandise prize pack.
