Carr’s Lake Country Supermarket Sells Northstar Cash^® Ticket
Worth $25,000

JULY 9, 2009 — Carr’s Lake Country Supermarket, located at 320 N. State Highway 78 in Otter Tail, sold a Northstar Cash ticket that won a $25,000 jackpot.

The ticket was purchased by Charles Schumacher of Minneapolis for the drawing on July 6, 2009. The numbers on his ticket matched the five numbers drawn that night to win $25,000. The winning Northstar Cash numbers for July 6 were 1-2-4-6-10. Schumacher claimed the prize on July 8, 2009.

A Northstar Cash ticket worth $28,000 from the drawing on July 16, 2008 (sold in Stearns County) still remains unclaimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn. 

Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
