South St. Paul Resident Wins $29,000 Northstar Cash® Prize
JUlY 23, 2008 - Joyce Schaffer of South St. Paul hit the jackpot! Her ticket matched the winning numbers of 5-6-14-16-25 from the July 21, 2008 drawing to win the $29,000 Northstar Cash jackpot.
Schaffer purchased the winning ticket at Charlie’s Chocolate & Cravings, 30 E. 7th St.
in St. Paul.
A Northstar Cash jackpot worth $28,000 from the drawing on July 16, 2008 (sold in Stearns County) and a $25,000 jackpot from the drawing on July 25, 2007 (sold in Ramsey County) have not yet been claimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.
Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
