Clear Lake Resident Wins $25,000 Jackpot
JULY 10, 2009 — Linda Loiselle-Kampa of Clear Lake won $25,000 by playing the Lottery’s Northstar Cash® game.
The ticket that she purchased for the drawing on July 7 matched all five winning numbers (3-11-12-25-29) to win the $25,000 jackpot.
Clear Lake Amoco, located at 7988 Front St. in Clear Lake, sold the winning ticket.
Loiselle-Kampa claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on July 9.
A winning Northstar Cash ticket worth $28,000 from the drawing on July 16, 2008 (sold in Stearns County) is currently unclaimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.
To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.
Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
