Three Anoka County Residents Claim Six-Figure
Lottery Prizes on the Same Day

JULY 14, 2009 — Three Anoka County residents claimed big lottery prizes at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on July 13.

James Hansen of Coon Rapids won $100,000 by playing the Funky 5s scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at Holiday Station Store, located at 21004 County Road 1 in Emily.

Funky 5s is a $5 scratch game that offers a top prize of $100,000. There is still one of four $100,000 prizes remaining to be claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing Funky 5s are 1 in 3.61.

Another Coon Rapids resident, Laheeb Al Saady, also claimed a big Lottery prize on July 13. Al Saady won $200,000 by playing the Hit the Jackpot scratch game. Her winning ticket was sold by Dehn Retail Stores, located at 380 Northdale Blvd. in Coon Rapids.

Hit the Jackpot is a $10 game that offers a $200,000 top prize. There are currently two of four $200,000 prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing Hit the Jackpot are 1 in 3.30.

Wendy Lee of Fridley won $100,000 by playing the Sapphire Blue 5s scratch game. Freedom Valu Center, located at 7600 N.E. University Ave. in Fridley, sold Lee’s winning ticket.
