Maplewood Resident Wins $26,000 Northstar Cash® Jackpot

JANUARY 4, 2008 — A Maplewood resident won the $26,000 Northstar Cash jackpot from the Dec. 29, 2007 drawing. Vickey Hohenwald claimed the prize on Jan. 3 at the Lottery’s office in Roseville. Hohenwald picked all five lucky numbers drawn (6-12-20-28-30) to hit the jackpot!

Cub Foods (Maplewood East), located at 2390 White Bear Ave. N. in Maplewood, sold the winning ticket.

A Northstar Cash jackpot worth $25,000 (sold in Ramsey County) from the drawing on July 25, 2007 has not yet been claimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.

Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
