First $250,000 Casino Royale Scratch Game Prize Claimed

JANUARY 22, 2008 — A Grand Rapids resident won $250,000 by playing the Casino Royale Scratch Game. Peggy Atol arrived at the Lottery’s office on Friday, Jan. 18 to claim the prize.

River Road Market, located at 302 – 7th Ave. S.E. in Grand Rapids, sold the winning ticket.

Welcome to the Casino Royale — your $10 ticket admits you to four great games of chance where you could win up to 250,000! Casino Royale offers players 23 chances to win up to $250,000 on each ticket. Three of four $250,000 prizes have not yet been claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize when playing Casino Royale are 1 in 3.42.

To play, simply scratch the play areas.

1) Try your hand at the casino’s two roulette wheels. If any of “Your Numbers” matches the “Wheel Number” within the same wheel, you win the prize shown.

2) Next try your hand at four rolls of Dice. If Your Dice add up to a 7 or 11 in the same roll, win the prize for that roll.

3) Of course no casino is complete without a spin — or six — at Slots. Match 3 like symbols in the same Spin, win the indicated prize.

4) End your visit with five hands of Blackjack. If the two cards in each hand beat the Dealer’s Hand, you win the prize shown. If the Dealer busts, you win all 5 prizes!
