Hugo Family Shares $100,000 Lottery Prize


JANUARY 25, 2008 — A family of three shared a $100,000 Lottery prize that they won by playing the Diamonds and Gold Scratch Game.

Robert Boudewyns of Hugo, along with his parents, Timothy and Ann Boudewyns of Danbury, WI arrived at the Lottery’s office in Roseville yesterday to claim the prize. Each received a check for approximately $33,333 (before tax withholding).

Holiday/Badger Tire Corp, located at 17280 Kenyon Ave. in Lakeville sold the winning ticket.

Diamonds and Gold is a $5 Scratch Game that offers players a chance to win a $100,000 top prize. Two of five $100,000 prizes remain to be claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.50.

Players have 16 chances to win on each gold bar-sized ticket. Reveal a “Gold” symbol in the play area to win the prize amount shown; reveal a “Diamond” symbol and win 5 times the prize amount shown! With the name Diamonds and Gold, the top prize will be worth taking to the bank — players can win up to $100,000!
