Two Harbors Resident Wins $70,571 Northstar Cash® Jackpot

FEBRUARY 4, 2008 — Donald Pearson of Two Harbors claimed a $70,571 Northstar Cash jackpot at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Feb. 1

The numbers on his single-line ticket matched all five numbers drawn on Jan. 28 (3-10-22-23-29) to win the jackpot.

Two Harbors Little Store, located at 831 – 7th Ave. in Two Harbors, sold the winning ticket.
A Northstar Cash jackpot ticket worth $25,000 for the drawing on July 25, 2007 (sold in Ramsey County) has not yet been claimed. Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim all prizes.

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.

Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
