Fargo Man Wins $50,000 Lottery Prize

AUGUST 13, 2009 — A North Dakota man won a $50,000 lottery prize by playing the $500,000 Fortune scratch game. David Shih of Fargo claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Aug. 11.

Orton’s Moorhead Food Mart, located at 725 – 30th Ave. S., sold the winning ticket.

$500,000 Fortune is a $20 scratch game that offers players a chance to win a $500,000 top prize. Two of four $500,000 top prizes and three of five $50,000 prizes still remain in the game. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 3.00.

Each $20 ticket features a variety of games to play for 31 chances to win up to $500,000! To play, simply scratch the play areas and follow the play instructions for each game. The $500,000 Fortune game offers more than $15 million in cash prizes.
