Anoka Resident Wins $61,976 Northstar Cash^® Prize

AUGUST 18, 2009 — Kristi Johnson of Anoka won a $61,976 Northstar Cash jackpot. The numbers on her quick-pick ticket matched all five winning numbers (5-8-14-26-29) drawn on Aug. 8, 2009.

Johnson claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Aug. 17.

Holiday, located at 460 W. Main St. in Anoka, sold the winning ticket.  

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn. 

Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
