Sisters Share $100,000 Lottery Prize

NeelysFEBRUARY 25, 2008 — Michelle and Stephanie Neely of Bemidji won $100,000 playing the Lottery’s Deal or No Deal Scratch Game.

The two, who are sisters, decided to stop at Simonson Station Stores, located at 1820 Paul Bunyan Drive N.W. in Bemidji, to purchase Deal or No Deal Scratch tickets. Michelle scratched the winning ticket and was surprised to see that it was a $100,000 winner. Her sister didn’t believe her at first, because, “She always tells me she won when she didn’t,” Stephanie explained. The pair agreed that it was one of the best days of their lives.

Players have the opportunity to mail in non-winning tickets for the chance to win $1 million in a grand prize multi-state drawing. To enter, players must mail in non-winning Deal or No Deal tickets or enter ticket information online on the Lottery’s website at mnlottery.com.

Deal or No Deal is a $5 Scratch Game that offers instant cash prizes up to $100,000. Five of 10 $100,000 top prizes have yet to be claimed.
