$100,000 Lottery Prize Won by a Victoria Couple

FEBRUARY 27, 2008 — Lori Jesberg of Victoria scratched 22 of the 24 briefcases on a Deal or No Deal ticket. “I got down to $10 and $100,000. I thought, ‘I know what it’s going to be,’” she said, expecting to win $10. Jesberg was shocked after revealing the dollar amounts under the remaining briefcases and “it said $10 and left the $100,000!”

Her husband, Mark Jesberg, was sitting on the recliner in the living room. “I came up and double-checked (the ticket),” he said after his wife yelled, “We just won $100,000!”

The Jesbergs claimed the prize at Lottery headquarters in Roseville on Feb. 25.

The winning ticket was purchased at Holiday, 444 E. 1st Ave. in Shakopee.

Players have the opportunity to win $1 million in a grand prize multi-state drawing. To enter, players must mail in non-winning Deal or No Deal tickets or enter ticket information online on the Lottery’s website at mnlottery.com.
