Pequot Lakes Resident Wins $200,000 Powerball® Prize
MARCH 17, 2008 —A few weeks ago, Tamara Gravdahl of Pequot Lakes learned that Powerball tickets matching the first five numbers drawn without the Powerball win $200,000. So she knew right away what she’d won when on Thursday (March 13) she compared the winning Powerball numbers drawn the night before to the numbers printed on her ticket and saw that the first five were a match.
“I couldn’t believe it,” Gravdahl said. After finding out about her good fortune, she went to work. “It was tough to work,” she said. She claimed the prize the following day (March 14) at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville. G-Will Liquors, located at 2320 Cloud Drive in Blaine, sold the winning ticket.
The Powerball numbers drawn on March 12, 2008 were 12-19-30-34-36 and the Powerball was 8.
A $200,000 Powerball prize from the drawing on March 15, 2008 (sold in Dakota County) and a $200,000 Powerball prize from the drawing on Feb. 13, 2008 (sold in Stearns County) have not yet been claimed. Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim all prizes.
