White Bear Lake Resident Wins $235,345 Jackpot

APRIL 7, 2009 —Leon Lang of White Bear Lake claimed a $235,345 Gopher 5® jackpot at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville. The fifth line of his five-line quick-pick ticket matched all five numbers drawn on April 3, 2009 (12-13-24-31-35) to win the jackpot.

White Bear Clark, located at 2511 E. County Road E in White Bear Lake, sold the winning ticket.

Gopher 5 is Minnesota’s own cash lotto for which players pick five numbers from 1 to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot of at least $100,000. The odds of matching all five numbers to win the jackpot are 1 in 1,533,939. The approximate overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 12.
