St. Paul Resident Wins $13,000 Northstar Cash® Prize

Donald CraftSEPTEMBER 23, 2009 — Donald Craft of St. Paul won $13,000 playing Northstar Cash. The numbers on his quick-pick ticket matched the winning numbers of 3-5-15-21-23 drawn on Sept. 18, 2009 to win a $13,000 prize. His ticket was one of two sold that matched all five winning numbers for that drawing to split the $26,000 jackpot.

Craft purchased the winning ticket at Rainbow Foods, 892 Arcade St. in St. Paul.

Leon Hunter of Landfall won the other $13,000 prize from the drawing on Sept. 18.

Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $1.7 billion for state programs. The General Fund has received over $1 billion to help fund important functions such as education, public safety and health and human services. Another $677 million has funded critical environmental programs.
