St. Paul Resident Wins $200,000 Powerball Prize
APRIL 11, 2008 — Tien Tran of St. Paul won $200,000 playing Powerball. The single-line quick-pick ticket that he purchased for the April 9 drawing matched the first five numbers drawn.
Tran claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville this morning.
The winning Powerball numbers drawn on April 9, 2008 were 3-13-19-32-46 and the Powerball was 18.
Cub Foods, located at 1440 University Ave. W. in St. Paul, sold the winning ticket.
A $200,000 Powerball prize from the drawing on Feb. 13, 2008 (sold in Stearns County) has not yet been claimed. Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim all prizes.
