Champlin Resident Wins $29,000 Northstar Cash® Prize

APRIL 22, 2008 — A resident of Champlin won the $29,000 Northstar Cash jackpot from the April 15, 2008 drawing.

Krista Vicary claimed the prize on April 21 at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville. Her quick-pick ticket matched all five numbers drawn (3-4-10-18-22) to win the jackpot.

Vicary purchased the winning ticket at Bill’s Superette, 6232 Boone Ave. N. in Brooklyn Park.

A Northstar Cash jackpot worth $25,000 from the drawing on July 25, 2007 (sold in Ramsey County) has not yet been claimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn. 

Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
