Ogilvie Resident Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize

NOVEMBER 16, 2009 — Frank Hull Jr. of Ogilvie won a $100,000 prize by playing the Lottery’s Buck$ and Dough scratch game.

Hull claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Nov. 13.

Olson’s Truck Stop, located at 4101 – 148th St. N.W. in Clearwater, sold the winning ticket.

Buck$ and Dough is a $5 scratch game that offers 22 chances to play and win up to $100,000. There are currently three of five $100,000 prizes remaining to be claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing the Buck$ and Dough scratch game are 1 in 3.62.

Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $1.7 billion for state programs. The General Fund has received over $1 billion to help fund important functions such as education, public safety and health and human services. Another $677 million has funded critical environmental programs.
