Eagan Resident Wins $26,000 Northstar Cash^® Prize

NOVEMBER 17, 2009 — Susan Holm of Eagan won $26,000 playing Northstar Cash. The numbers on her quick-pick ticket matched the winning numbers of 5-19-23-28-30 drawn on Nov. 8, 2009 to win a $26,000 jackpot.

Holm purchased the winning ticket at Holiday, 2605 London Road in Duluth.

A Northstar Cash jackpot worth $63,148 from the drawing on Oct. 10, 2009 (sold in Washington County) has not yet been claimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes.

To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.

Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.

Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $1.7 billion for state programs. The General Fund has received over $1 billion to help fund important functions such as education, public safety and health and human services. Another $677 million has funded critical environmental programs.
