Brooklyn Park Woman Wins $63,512 Northstar Cash® Jackpot
MAY 8. 2008 — Betsy Fasinro of Brooklyn Park won the $63,512 Northstar Cash jackpot from the May 4 drawing. The third-line of Fasinro’s five-line quick-pick ticket matched all five winning numbers (3-14-15-16-26) to win the jackpot. She claimed the prize yesterday at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville.
The winning ticket was purchased at SuperAmerica, located at 9300 Zane Ave. in Brooklyn Park.
A Northstar Cash jackpot worth $25,000 (sold in Ramsey County) from the drawing on July 25, 2007 has not yet been claimed. Northstar Cash players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
To play Northstar Cash, players select five numbers from 1 to 31. Matching the five numbers drawn wins the jackpot, which starts at $25,000 and grows until it is won. Players also win by matching 2, 3 or 4 of the numbers drawn.
Northstar Cash drawings are conducted daily after the Daily 3® drawing. Tickets must be purchased by 6:10 p.m. on the day of the drawing.
