Dent Resident Wins $100,000 Lottery Prize
NOVEMBER 18, 2009 — Deborah Dahl of Dent won a $100,000 prize by playing the Lottery’s Buck$ and Dough scratch game.
Dahl claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on Nov. 17.
Cenex Convenience, located at 112 Main St. in Dent, sold the winning ticket.
Buck$ and Dough is a $5 scratch game that offers 22 chances to play and win up to $100,000. There are currently two of five $100,000 prizes remaining to be claimed. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing the Buck$ and Dough scratch game are 1 in 3.62.
Proceeds from the Minnesota State Lottery benefit all Minnesotans. Since 1990, the Lottery has raised more than $1.7 billion for state programs. The General Fund has received over $1 billion to help fund important functions such as education, public safety and health and human services. Another $677 million has funded critical environmental programs.
