Bloomington Resident Wins $50,000 Lottery Prize

MAY 26, 2009 — Jason Clark of Bloomington won $50,000 by playing the Lottery’s $500,000 Cash Blowout scratch game.

The winning ticket was purchased at David Fong’s, 9329 Lyndale Ave. in Bloomington.

The $500,000 Cash Blowout scratch game is a $20 ticket that offers a top prize of $500,000. There are currently three of four $500,000 top prizes and four of five $50,000 prizes remaining. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing $500,000 Cash Craze are 1 in 2.94.

To play, simply scratch the play areas. Find a Coin symbol in any spot in the first two play areas, win the prize shown below that symbol. If you find a Moneybag symbol, you win DOUBLE the prize. Next up is tic tac toe. Get three Moneybag symbols in one row, column or diagonal line to win the prize shown. If you uncover a Coin symbol, you win DOUBLE the prize! Next, see if you match any of Your Numbers to either of the Lucky Numbers to win the prize shown below that number. More merriment follows: match any of Your Numbers to any of six Lucky Numbers to win the prize shown below that number. With 36 chances to win on each $20 ticket – and over $16,000,000 in total prizes – you know you’re going to enjoy some quality play time!
