Minneapolis Resident Wins $200,000 Lottery Prize
MAY 30, 2008 — James Bennett of Minneapolis won $200,000 by playing the Lottery’s $200,000 Extreme Cash scratch game. He claimed the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Roseville on May 29.
Rainbow Foods, located at 3505 W. Broadway in Robbinsdale, sold the winning ticket.
The $200,000 Extreme Cash scratch game is a $10 ticket that offers a top prize of $200,000. The overall odds of winning a prize by playing $200,000 Extreme Cash are 1 in 3.58. There are currently three of four $200,000 top prizes remaining to be claimed.
In game 1, if any of Your Symbols match either of the Money Symbols, you win the prize shown for that match. In game 2, uncover 3 Xs or 3 Os in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal straight line to win the Money Prize. In game 3, match 3 like amounts to win that amount. And in game 4, if you match either of the Money Numbers to any of Your Numbers, you win the prize shown for that number. If you find a $25 symbol in the Bonus spot, a $50 symbol in the Big Bonus spot or a $100 symbol in the Extreme Bonus spot, you instantly win the amount shown.
