During FY07, the Lottery paid out more than $250 million in prizes to the holders of over 32 million winning tickets.  76 percent of the winning tickets were Scratch tickets. 

More than 2.3 million winning tickets worth over $19 million were claimed by Powerball and Power Play players in FY07.

Hot Lotto paid 1.1 million winning tickets totalling $4.3 million in prizes.  

The Gopher 5 game awarded $7.1 million to over 1 million winners, $6 million was paid to almost 1.9 million Northstar Cash players, 56,000 players won $6.8 million playing Daily 3 and 1 million players claimed over $5.7 million in G3 Games prizes during fiscal year 2007. 

Minnesota Millionaire Raffle paid $2.5 million in prizes to 102 ticketholders in calendar year 2007.

Online Game prizes that are unclaimed one year after the date of the drawing and Scratch Game prizes that are unclaimed one year after the game ends can no longer be redeemed.  This unclaimed prize money goes to the State’s General Fund.  Unclaimed prizes in FY07 totaled $9 million.
