A Winning Streak Spans Minnesota
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (June 26, 2026) — From Greater Minnesota to the Twin Cities, lottery players are celebrating a week of Powerball®, Mega Millions, and North 5 wins.
Two Powerball tickets won $100,000 prizes in the June 20 and June 24 drawings, with winning tickets sold in Madison and Brooklyn Park. Another Powerball ticket sold in Minneapolis won $50,000 in the June 24 drawing, while a Mega Millions ticket purchased in St. Joseph claimed a $100,000 prize in the June 23 drawing. In addition, a North 5 ticket sold in Ramsey won a $117,700 prize in the June 22 drawing.
The $100,000 Powerball winner from Brooklyn Park couldn’t believe he got his lucky moment. The winner described buying a lottery ticket like buying a movie ticket. “Just as you sit in a theater and imagine yourself as James Bond, you buy a lottery ticket and dream about being the person who wins.”
Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. In Minnesota, lottery players have one year to claim prizes. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.
Information regarding Minnesota Lottery prize winners above $10,000 is private data. Unless a winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released.
