Minnesota Lottery Player Wins $100,000 from Powerball® Ticket Sold in Duluth
Powerball® Jackpot Climbs to Estimated $750 Million for Monday, August 25
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (August 25, 2025) — A lucky winning ticket was sold over the weekend in the Powerball® drawing.
A Powerball® ticket with the Power Play® option, purchased in Duluth for the August 23 drawing, matched four numbers plus the Powerball to win $100,000.
The winning ticket was sold at Miller Hill Super One, located at 5401 Burning Tree Road in Duluth. The winning numbers for the August 23 Powerball drawing were: 11, 14, 34, 47, 51, and the Powerball was 18. The Power Play multiplier was 2.
Power Play is an optional feature that, for an additional $1 per play, multiplies non-jackpot prizes by the drawn multiplier. With Power Play, the second-tier prize is always $2 million, regardless of the multiplier.
In Minnesota, prize claims must be submitted within one (1) year of the drawing date. Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment
Unless the winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released. As of Sept. 1, 2021, the names and cities of lottery prize winners above $10,000 are private data.
