For many kids, their first exposure to gambling often comes in the form of a lottery ticket, usually given by an adult who may not realize the risks involved. But research shows that the earlier someone participates in, or is exposed to gambling, the more likely they are to develop gambling problems later in life.

That’s why we proudly partner with the Minnesota Alliance on Problem Gambling to support the Gift Responsibly Campaign each holiday season. This important initiative helps raise awareness about the risks of youth gambling and encourages responsible gifting.

As we celebrate the season of giving, we want to remind everyone that lottery tickets are meant for adults. While they can be a fun and exciting gift, they’re not appropriate for anyone under 18. Let’s keep the holidays joyful and safe by making sure lottery tickets stay in the hands of adults.

Give smart. Gift responsibly.
