What’s the The Chase to $1 Million™?

It's a national Powerball® promotion that could put you on the road to the 2026 NASCAR Championship Weekend™ at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Four finalists from across the country will win a VIP trip for two to NASCAR Championship Weekend™ and a chance to win the $1 million grand prize, awarded live on NBC before the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race™.

How's It Work?

Purchase a Powerball ticket between June 29 and July 29, 2026 and enter the 2nd Chance by August 2, 2026 for your chance to win. 

On August 4, the Minnesota Lottery will draw 26 winners from all eligible entries:

  • One winner will receive $2,000, a prize pack, and advance to the national NASCAR Powerball® – The Chase competition.
  • Twenty-five winners will each receive $250 and a prize pack.

The Minnesota winner will join winners from participating lotteries across the country to begin The Chase.

As the competition progresses, the field will be narrowed until only four finalists remain. Those four finalists will:

  • Win a VIP trip for two to NASCAR Championship Weekend™
  • Receive additional cash prizes along the way
  • Earn a spot in the live drawing for $1 million

How Do I Enter?

It's easy:

  1. Buy a Powerball® ticket between June 29 and July 29, 2026.
  2. Enter the ticket's unique code at mnlottery.com or in the Minnesota Lottery app.
  3. You'll get one entry for each dollar spent on your Powerball ticket.
  4. Submit your entry by August 2, 2026.

Then sit back and see if you're headed to Victory Lane.
