We’re only a few months into 2026 and three big wins have already been sold by retailers located along Round Lake Blvd NW - including a Millionaire Raffle winner, a $200,000 scratch prize, and a Gopher 5 jackpot worth more than $1.5 million.
Let’s take a drive down the Boulevard of Big Wins.
To kick off the year, Holiday Stationstores at 13051 Round Lake Blvd. NW in Coon Rapids sold one of Minnesota’s first million-dollar winners – one of two 2026 Minnesota Millionaire Raffle $1 million prizes. The prize was claimed anonymously, but the store employees were thrilled to show off their retailer bonus check.

Less than three miles south of the Holiday, Amy’s Mini Mart, at11872 Round Lake Blvd NW in Coon Rapids, had a $200,000 top prize winner on a Cash Train scratch ticket in February.
The winner, Scott, was kind enough to share his story. He had dropped his wife and son off at bingo before heading to his night shift. On the way, he stopped to grab a pizza for dinner and picked up two $10 scratch tickets, something he says he does about once a month.
“I didn’t think it was going to be lucky,” Scott said, “but I feel like I always win if I stay in the parking lot.”
So he stayed put and started scratching the Cash Train ticket.
The very first symbol he revealed was a 10X symbol with $10,000 underneath it. He stopped right there, thinking he’d hit it big. He called his wife and said he was “losing it.” Then he called his brother, who looked up the game at mnlottery.com and delivered some surprising news: there are no $100,000 prizes - only $10,000 or $200,000.
That meant Scott had to keep scratching.
The next row revealed another 10X symbol with $10,000 underneath it, bringing his total to the $200,000 top prize.
Scott headed back into Amy’s to scan the ticket. The ticket message confirmed he needed to call the Lottery. Next call? His boss. When he explained that he was a big winner, she was thrilled for him and told him to take the night off.
The next morning, Scott and his wife headed to Lottery headquarters in Roseville to claim their prize. His plans for the winnings are simple: “A new truck, a canoe because I really like to canoe in the summer, and save the rest.”

On the northern end of the boulevard, Bill’s Superette #7, 14041 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover, added another big win to the streak. The store sold the winning ticket for the February 27 Gopher 5 jackpot worth $1,509,594 - putting yet another million-dollar-plus prize on the map.

The Monday after the jackpot was won, the store saw a big uptick in lottery customers.
“People want to buy tickets at a ‘lucky’ store,” Elias said. They’re also curious about who won. “Not me, I know that,” joked Michelle.
Lottery sales representative Jack O’Como says he’s been hearing the same question everywhere he goes in Andover and the surrounding towns: “Have you heard about the winner at Bill’s?”
So far, the jackpot remains unclaimed… could it be you? “Gopher it” and check your tickets.
So if you're feeling lucky, Round Lake Boulevard NW might be worth the drive. Three big wins down already in 2026… and the year is just getting started. You could be next - find a retailer and try your luck.
