Big Lottery Wins in Iron and Maplewood on June 9
A $50,000 Powerball Win and a $73,413 North 5 Jackpot Awarded
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (June 10, 2025) — Minnesota Lottery players hit the jackpot on Monday night, celebrating major wins with a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 sold in Iron and a North 5 ticket worth $73,413 sold in Maplewood.
The $50,000 winning Powerball ticket was sold at Crossroads Convenience & Liquor Store, located at 3906 Highway 7 in Iron. While the $73,413 North 5 winning ticket was sold at Hy-Vee, 2501 White Bear Ave., in Maplewood. Hy-Vee earns a $734 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
In Minnesota, lottery players have one year to claim prizes. Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.
Unless a winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released. As of Sept. 1, 2021, the names and cities of lottery prize winners above $10,000 are private data.
The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $65 million for the June 11 drawing. The North 5 jackpot has reset to $25,000 for the June 10 drawing. Visit www.mnlottery.com for more information and official rules.
