Powerball® Jackpot Climbs to Estimated $1.7 Billion for Saturday, September 6 Drawing
$1 Million Powerball® Ticket Wins on Wednesday, September 3
ROSEVILLE, Minn. (September 4, 2025) — The Powerball jackpot is an estimated $1.7 billion (annuity option) for the Saturday, September 6 drawing.
Minnesota Lottery players won big Powerball® prizes in the Wednesday, September 3 drawing. A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in Inver Grove Heights at the Speedway located at 7501 Concord Boulevard. The winning Powerball numbers drawn on September 3 were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and the Powerball was 22. The Power Play® multiplier was 2. Inver Grove Heights Speedway earns a $5,000 bonus for selling the $1 million winning ticket.
In addition, a winning $50,000 Powerball ticket was sold in Rosemount at the Kwik Trip located at 1030 Upper 144th Street West.
In Minnesota, prize claims must be submitted within one (1) year of the drawing date. Minnesota Lottery prizes above $50,000 must be claimed in person at Minnesota Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Prizes $50,000 and below can be claimed by mail or at any regional office. It is recommended that winners call ahead to check hours and to make an appointment.
Unless the winner chooses to opt in to publicity, their name and city will not be released. As of Sept. 1, 2021, the names and cities of lottery prize winners above $10,000 are private data.
