Read below for answers to Frequently Asked Questions about your Lottery account.
How do I register?
To register a new account, select the Sign Up/Log In link on the main menu bar at the top of this page. After the page loads, fill out the required fields in the registration form and click SUBMIT.
After successfully submitting the form, you will receive an email that contains an activation link (this link will expire after 24 hours).
Note: If you do not see the email in your Inbox, please make sure to check your Junk/Spam folders for the Activation email. If you're still having trouble, please contact Customer Support at (651) 635-8273, option #1 or cs.support@mnlottery.com. Customer Support can be reached Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm.
What are the username requirements?
Your username must contain letters, numbers or underscores. An email address will not be accepted as a valid username.
Note: You can find your username by using the “Forgot your username?” link on the sign in page. Your username will be sent to the email address listed on your account.
What are the password requirements?
Your password must contain the following:
- 10 Characters and at least one of each of the following:
- 1 Uppercase letter (A, B, C, …)
- 1 Lowercase letter (a, b, c, …)
- 1 Number (1, 2, 3, …)
- 1 Special character (“, !, @, #, $, %, ^, &, *, (,), _, +, “)
My password is not being accepted when I try to log in. What if I forgot my password?
You must complete the registration process before you can log in and submit entries. If this is your first time submitting entries, complete and submit your registration information. Once registered, if you have difficulty entering your password, check to see if your CAPS LOCK key is on. Passwords are case sensitive. If this is not the case, it is possible that your browser is set to auto-fill. Please delete all characters in the field before entering new information.
Note: If you have forgotten your password, please go to the Sign Up/Login page and use the “Forgot Password?” Link.
Why did I receive a “401 Invalid Authorization” error message when I attempted to reset my password?
The credentials used to access this page are no longer valid. This can happen when multiple password resets have been requested. Please ensure you are using the most recent link that was emailed to you.
Help, I am locked out of my account. Why?
Your account will lock for 3 hours after too many password attempts. After the 3 hours have expired, the account will become unlocked.

How do I update my personal information after I have registered?
You can update your account information at any time by logging into your account. Sign in with your username and password. Select “My Account” at the top of the page to access your account information. Select “Edit my Information” to make any necessary changes on your account, then click “Save Changes”.
How can I receive jackpot alerts or promotional emails?
You can update your email preference at any time by logging into your account; sign in with your username and password. Select “My Account” at the top of the page to access your account information. Select “Edit my Information” to subscribe or remove Winning Number Alerts or Promotional Items from your account, then click “Save Changes”.
My Account was set up with an email address I no longer have access to. What can I do?
Please register for a new account using your new email address.
Note: All previously entered tickets will remain listed under your past account.
I have not logged in lately and can’t get into my account. What should I do?
Accounts that have had no activity for more than 18 months will be scheduled for deletion. If you haven't used your account in long time contact Customer Support to activate your account.
